Ever wonder who those folks are that head to the drag strip every weekend. 

Just how much fun can they be having, and do you have what it takes to join in the fun?

The answer to the second question is "Yes!" 

If you have a car, just about any car, you can join in on the fun at Kanawha Valley Dragway.

 

The answer to the first question is, Kelsea Miller, 18, and Mackenzie Byrd, 8, are two of the many folks who love the feeling of smashing the gas pedal as hard as they can!  Kelsea and Mackenzie both know the thrill of racing down the 1/8 mile track, challenging their skill and improving on their reaction with each pass.

The crew and staff at Kanawha Valley Motorsports Park invites everyone to come out the track each Friday and Saturday and experience the thrill of drag racing at the only IHRA sanctioned track in West Virginia.

Pittsburgh Raceway Park. Greg Fowler won the Hot Rod Sportsman National there Sunday. Greg was also runner up in the Divisional event on Saturday.

This win has put Greg into the Tournament of Champions race for the World Championship at Virginia Motorsports Park in Richmond, Va Oct 15th thru 17th. There will be approximately 28 drivers in the race and the World Championship will be determined on the track in the final IHRA race of the year. Winner takes the World Championship. This is a great opportunity for Greg to try to bring that championship back to West Virginia for the first time ever!!
